The snow arrived silently overnight and we have quite a covering with drifts in places.  We have a small flock of pedigree Suffolk sheep,  beautiful creatures who are friendly and calm and usually look quite white - though more so after they have been shorn at the end of May - today their whiteness has disappeared against the luminosity of the snow.  Here they are huddled by the hay feeder!  Meanwhile in the garden Joe and Hattie have been hard at work building an igloo, whilst I have stayed indoors by the fire.  It looks impressive, though not quite got a roof yet!

Christmas eve at last and it seems very still and quiet here.  We would like to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas & a Fantastic New Year.  Thank you to everyone who has come and stayed at the Dairy and we hope to see many of you again soon!
